Define the word “interpretation.” Does the idea/practice of perspectivism seem weak to you? Can it be avoided? Is a “god’s-eye” view (absolutist) actually possible (Plato), thus eliminating interpretation? Can some people rationally and ethically claim to have the absolute truth , be it scientific or religious? If there is no absolute standard, is life just a free-for-all? Are standards possible?
What should be done about cannabis? How should Marijuana be effectively legalized? What risks and benefits come this dramatic change in social policy? What considerations do you think should be put on how cannabis is made available? What evidence is there to guide regulation of cannabis once possession and use by adults is legalized?
